Intermediate Flash Developer

Job Responsibilities

· Front-end development in Adobe Flash 9 or 10 using ActionScript 3.0.
· Work closely with designers, producers and artists during development to design and implement the best end-user experience.
· Work within an agile/iterative environment.
· Develop unit tests and test scripts.
· Insert tags for analytics
· Write technical documentation for code and code design.

Required Technical Experience and Skills

· 3 + years programming and developing advanced Flash (ActionScript 3) applications.
· Experience and understanding of design patterns and MVC frameworks
· 2 + years developing database schemas.
· Ability to quickly prototype and iterate towards production-level quality.
· Experience with back-end programming work in some or all of the following languages: PHP, Ruby, XHTML, JavaScript/CSS, AJAX, and MySql.
· Experience with 3d programming a plus (e.g., Papervision).
· Knowledge of Subversion, or other revision control tools.
· Experience and understanding of object-oriented design principles.
· Experience with multi-user application development.
· Experience with Flex 3/4 a plus
· Experience in CMS
· Knowledge of web application security is a plus.
